Hello, my name is Nelson Baiza.

 

I am one of the 8th grade history teachers here at The North Bergen Junior High School. I started my career in September  of 2001 in the North Bergen School District after graduating from Rider University.    I obtained my Bachelor's degree From Rider University in 2000 in History & Education, Multi-Cultural Studies, and Women's Studies.   In 2004, I earned my Masters Degree in 2004 in General Education.  Aside from teaching in North Bergen,  I have also taught courses as an  adjunct professor at Hudson Community College . 

I am a father of 2 wonderful children.  Like you,  I understand  the impact education can have on our children's future.     As an educator, It is my job and duty to challenge our students to think, to become our leaders of tomorrow, and to foster a love for learning.
