On Saturday, February 28, Angel Alburez, Matthew Lafi, and Chris Torres, 7th-grade STEAM students, attended the 15th Annual 90-Second Newbery Film Festival at the Brooklyn Public Library. The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual nationwide video contest in which young filmmakers create short films that summarize Newbery Award–winning books in 90 seconds. The films must stay true to the core of the plot while also incorporating a unique and creative twist.

The sweetest surprise rolled through the halls today. A small thank you for the incredible staff who make our Junior High such a special place every day.

A day full of smiles, kindness, and sweet moments. Our Valentine’s Day photobooth turned into a celebration of friendship, and it was a beautiful reminder that the little moments together mean the most! These are the best memories!

Exploring the world one question at a time— and loving every second! Our Junior Bruins Dream Team competed in the Hudson County Geography Bee against 9 other schools. They did phenomenally well and had the best time doing it!
