8th graders in Miss Isik's math class developed their communication/teamwork skills by completing the "Almost Impossible Pyramid" challenge!

Ever wondered how to land the perfect water bottle flip? Old trend turned into a science lesson as students learned how to run an experiment in the lab with a little bit of physics. Using graphs to collect data and an evidence based writing prompt students determined that about 100ml to 200ml of water makes for the most successful attempts. (Mrs. Cabreros’s (Colon) classes)

Congratulations to our girls soccer team on an undefeated inaugural season. The girls left it all on the field and ended with no goals against them!
We are all so proud of their hard work! We can't wait to see what comes next!

In Ms. Marin’s 7th Grade ELA class, the Essential Question for Unit 1 is: What can one generation learn from another? To explore this idea, students viewed and read Mother-Daughter Drawings, a collaboration between a mother and daughter who created unique pieces of art together.

What a night!! Our 7th graders had an amazing time at the fist ever Nicholas J Sacco Junior High School Fall Dance!! The music was great, the dance floor was packed and the costumes made it even more fun!

Our students have created impressive 3D models showcasing the structure of atoms, including protons, neutrons, and electrons. They have done an exceptional job demonstrating their understanding and creativity. I’m delighted to share their work with you.

Ms. Morgana’s Robotics Class is taking their projects to the next level! After working through the engineering design process and using circuits to plan and build their prototypes, students are now learning green screen production to create commercials for their projects. It’s been incredible watching their ideas (and personalities) shine!

The students in Mrs. Kosmark's 7th-grade English class had the opportunity to go to STARBOOKS. At the "STARBOOKS" Coffeehouse, they had a chance to "taste" a book from each of the 8 genres. Traveling from station to station allowed the students to interact with books they might never have picked up. Once done, they selected their top 3 books to read in the future. It was great to see their excitement for reading.
